evidence of adequate proficiency in German A2
In the event that proof of proficiency in the German language cannot be furnished the rectorate shall prescribe a supplementary examination which shall be taken prior to admission. The prescription of the supplementary exam according to § 5 presupposes proficiency in the German language at the time of application for admission of a minimum of level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (GERS). This proficiency must be demonstrated by the following certificates (valid for two years from the date of the test):
- Österreichisches Sprachdiplom – ÖSD Zertifikat A2
- Goethe Institut – Goethe Zertifikat A2
- Telc Deutsch A2
- Deutsches Sprachdiplom der Kultusministerkonferenz DSD I
The supplementary examination according to § 5 has to be taken as part of the preliminary study course. Regulation
