Fire protection at the BOKU
Preventive measures for the prevention of incipient fires and the fire protection organization of BOKU are the subject of this page. The fire protection officers (BSB) and the fire protection wardens (BSW) are the most important pillars of the internal fire protection organization. The authorities prescribe BSB in case of increased fire danger, or if the fire alarm system is directly connected to the fire department. At BOKU, the following BSB have been appointed for the respective objects listed.
Fire protection officer
The instructions of the fire protection officers must be followed. The BODs are not subject to instructions within the scope of their duties.
