Seminar Building - Hubert Kuhn Haus
The Seminar Building (Hubert Kuhn Haus - HKH) facilitates and support lectures, seminars, excercises, demonstrations and other events of the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences and also events organised by outside organisations.
To ensure frictionless succession of events a priority sequence is fixed in the site rules (german).
Facilities of the seminar building
The seminar building provides accomodation for 44 persons in 11 rooms (4 beds per room) in the seminar section and for 10 persons in 5 rooms (2 beds per room, two of them have shared sanitation) in the residential section.
The latter is intended for usage by for supervisory staff and eg. smaller groups engaged in research work.
The rooms are equipped with washroom and toilets each.
All rooms of the building can be heated by means of a woodchip-heating.
In the residential section is a lounge with kitchen for common use.
Basically the boarding is on self-catering base. On site, there is no service personnel besides our in-house technician.

A coin-operated telephone (+43 2626 81245) is situated in the basement.
In the seminar section is a auditorium for 50 persons and a seminar room for 12 persons.
During good weather conditions, lectures also can be hold at the outdoor arena.
Additionally a IT-userroom for up to 30 persons is available. This room is equipped with 12 cross-linked PC's, a beamer and two laser printers (colour + b/w).
Next to the auditorium, a lecturers' room with phone, Fax and a PC with internet connection can be found.
Password-protected WLAN internet access is possible in the common rooms and most of the bedrooms.
