What is the ADC fellowship?
LWM Candidates who have received the letter of substantive eligibility for LWM from BOKU as well as the provisional admission letter from IHE may apply for this fellowship provided by the Austrian Development Cooperation. To receive your provisional admission letter from IHE, upload your confirmation of substantial eligibility from BOKU together with your application on the IHE website.
The fellowship will be valid for the complete course duration with a monthly sum of EUR 1100,- for living expenses and accommodation for the course parts in Europe. Whereas during the study period in Kenya the monthly fellowship amount will be EUR 550,-.
Additionally, the fellowship includes coverage of international flights from your home country – Austria – Kenya – Netherlands – home country. The fellowship holder will also receive full accident and health insurance during the MSc programme period.
Fellowship Criteria
- Generally fellowship candidates should have about two to three years of practical or research experience since graduation. All applications are, however, considered on their individual merits.
- Fellowships are given with priority to applicants from the following countries: Albania, Armenia, Bhutan, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Georgia, Kenya, Kosovo, Moldova, Mozambique and Palestinian Territories and Uganda.
If you are not from one of the countries listed above, you may still apply!
- Age limit: not older than 35 years (men) / not older than 40 (women).
