Mag. Nikolaus Handig

Nikolaus Handig has been a university assistant (prae doc) at the Institute of Law at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna since January 2021.

He studied law in Vienna (University of Vienna) and Lisbon (Universidade Católica Portuguesa), focusing on environmental law and private commercial law. During his studies, he completed moot courts in environmental and civil law, worked as a startup consultant for the Vienna Law Clinic and as a paralegal in various law firms. Afterwards, the multiple merit-based scholarship recipient and Heinrich Klang Award winner was a judicial clerk in the jurisdiction of the Vienna Higher Regional Court.
