Robert GROSS, Mag. Dr.phil.
Robert Groß accomplished a doctorate in environmental history at the Institute of Social Ecology at the Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt in 2017. He then worked as a research and teaching assistant at various Austrian universities (most recently at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration) and completed fellowships in Austria, the USA and Germany, including the RCC and the Deutsches Museum. In his habilitation (Venia Docendi in Economic, Social and Environmental History), which he started in 2019, he focuses on the European history of fossil energy. Together with Katharina Scharf, he serves as the regional representative for the German-speaking countries in the European Society for Environmental History (ESEH) since 2023.
