BOKU-Kino - pride

BOKU-Kino - pride

goes open air in cooperation with CycleCinemal Club Vienna

20:30 ‐ 22:00

  • Sonstiges

We show the movie RAFIKI by Wanuri Kahiu, a love story between 2 young women, daughters of two opposed politicians in Kenia, where the screening of the movie was at first forbidden. In case of rain - 19:30! Tüwi HS 01

We will have Doris Posch, scienor scientist at "Wissenschaft und Kunst" and lecturer at Uni Wien giving us a brief introduction, a contextualisation, historical notes and insights into the current political situation in Kenia and surrounding African countries before we "enjoy" the movie.
June is not only PRIDE month but also: Summer. Therefore we tried to organise a screening outdoors in cooperation with the CycleCinemaClub Vienna. We bike and produce our own power for the screening.
In case of rain: start 19:30! in Tüwi HS 01. Same program.
