Patrick will give us insights into the fascinating world of ants, sharing his recent work on the genomic architecture and adaptations to environmental conditions in Formica species (and also other ant-related research).
Max will talk about the relationships between tree-colonizing beetles and their associated fungi, and how these interactions affect different symbiosis partners.
