International Master of Science in Soils and Global Change application deadline: 1 March

The International Master of Science in Soils and Global Change (IMSOGLO) programme aims to teach expertise, tools, technologies and applications in the context of soils and global change by bringing together the expertise of research groups at 4 renown EU universities.

Alarming effects of global change on soils observed throughout the world emphasize the need to train more people worldwide to understand how soils react to global change and to be able to develop prevention and remediation strategies and increase soil resilience.

This 2-year master programme is jointly offered by Ghent University/Belgium, University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna/Austria, Aahrus University/Denmark and University of Göttingen/Germany and offers study semesters at two or three partner universities within this programme, field works, international networking opportunities and practice-oriented high quality learning. Language of instruction: English.

Interested students can apply for the EMJMD (Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree) scholarship. This full scholarship covers all programme costs and travel costs and includes a monthly allowance as support for housing and subsistence costs.
