This lecture covers topics of physical chemistry that are relevant for bio(nano)sciences. The course content can be seen as complementary and adding in depth to the lecture in Biophysical Chemistry. It is therefore recommended that the students are familiar with the contents of this course.
The lecture will cover topics such as: statistical thermodynamics, molecular interactions, molecules in motion, molecular reaction dynamics, physical kinetics, polymer and colloidal solutions. Mathematical methods necessary to follow the different topics will be presented.
