+ Selected current topics in molecular genetics and molecular biology;
+ selected methods in molecular biology;
+ topics may be suggested by supervisors or students in accordance with the supervisors;

At the seminar day, a 15 min powerpoint presentation of selected paper/s should be given to the other participating students and supervisors.

For the preparation of the seminar presentation, students receive individual support and possibility to discuss their presentation drafts with the topic supervisors.

Lehrziel

Students will improve their competence in reading and understanding original scientific literature, to critically discuss with experienced supervisors and to exercise an oral presentation (in English language)

solid basic knowledge in molecular biology, genetics and cell biology is essential
