Introduction to multiple-criteria decision making; beyond monetary evaluation methods; planning and decision making process; humans and decisions: a typology; types of decision problems; classification of decision-making methods; selected MCDM-techniques (discussion of the method, demonstration applications); use of existing software tools; multiple criteria analysis techniques; case studies, hands-on exercises.
