The seminar is organized in two parts.
1. Theoretical part
Introduction to theories relevant to the field of sociology of climate change and the study of scientific texts (Theory of Planned Behaviour, New Environmental Paradigm)
Introduction to quantitative research design and analysis of a sample questionnaire
2. Practical part
Development of research questions guided by the Theory of Planned Behaviour and New Environmental Paradigm (on basis of sample questionnaire and code book)
Analysis of a data using statistical software (on basis of sample questionnaire, codebook and dataset)
Presentation of results

After successful completion of the course, the students will be able to explain the Theory of Planned Behaviour and apply it to the design of research projects in the context of climate change.
