Tongji University will host the UN Environment International Student Conference on Environment and Sustainability 2018 from 2 - 7 June in Shanghai, China. This year, in recognition of the World Environment Day, the overarching theme is "Less plastic pollution, better city life".

As an indication of their strong and on-going commitment to education for sustainable development, Tongji University, the Chair of the Global University Partnership on Environment and Sustainability will be offering 8 scholarships for excellent candidates from GUPES members: 2 in Latin America, 2 in Africa, 2 in Asia, 1 in North America and 1 in Europe.
