About the Nils Foss Prizes
The Nils Foss Prizes, hosted annually by the University of Copenhagen and sponsored by FOSS, are among the most prestigious awards in global food science. They recognize exceptional talent and outstanding contributions to agriculture, feed, food, and analytical technologies, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and sustainability in food systems.
The Excellence Prize awards €100,000, while the Talent Prize awards €15,000. Both prizes are accompanied by a unique handmade glass sculpture created by renowned Danish artist Torben Jørgensen.
