BOKU-International Relations encourages Austrian and international students coming together through the buddy network. If wanted, a BOKU student will be assigned to an incoming student as a tutor. A buddy can be requested via the application form. Buddies facilitate the first steps in Vienna.

Your buddy will be very helpful, especially at the beginning of the semester, when you move into your new place and have to deal with Austrian and BOKU administration. Buddies can introduce you to Viennese university life, help you get accustomed to BOKU and show you a more personal side of Vienna and Austria you would probably not discover otherwise.
