The general assembly of the Department of Bionanosciences meets at least yearly. It is the advisory body calling all members with a work contract with the department to offer their opinion and discuss matters of importance to the entire DBNS. The Departmentkonferenz will be an advisory body instituted with the new department statute guidelines for the BOKU departments. It will represent the different employment categories in the DBNS and formally partly supplant the advisory functions of the ALK and the Departmentversammlung.
