Larvendriftnetze

Um Störlarven zu fangen, werden Driftnetze für den Einsatz in der Donau benötigt. Die Netze sollen an der Öffnung einen Durchmesser von 0,8 m haben, 4-5 m Länge und eine Maschenweite von 1 bis max. 2 mm aufweisen. Das hintere Ende soll eine Öffnung von etwa 15 cm Durchmesser haben. Das Netz wird auf einen Rahmen in D-Form befestigt und muss dementsprechend ausgestattet sein.

Kamera für Sedimentaufnahmen

Für die Verifizierung der Sedimente während Sidescan-Habitataufnahmen wird eine unterwassertaugliche Kamera benötigt. Die Kamera muss tiefentauglich und wasserdicht bis zu einer Tiefe von mindestens 15 m sein (eventuell in Verbindung mit einer passenden Hülle), austausch- und wiederaufladbare Akkus und einen Steckplatz für SD-Karten haben, um Videos aufnehmen und speichern zu können.

Drift nets for larvae

To catch sturgeon larvae, drift nets are needed for use in the Danube. The nets should have an opening diameter of 0.8 m, a length of 4–5 m, and a mesh size of 1 to a maximum of 2 mm. The rear end should have an opening approximately 15 cm in diameter. The net is mounted on a D-shaped frame and must be equipped accordingly.

Camera for Sediment Imaging
To verify the sediments during sidescan habitat surveys, an underwater-capable camera is required. The camera must be suitable for depth and waterproof down to at least 15 m (possibly in combination with an appropriate housing), have replaceable and rechargeable batteries, and include an SD card slot to record and store videos.
