Welcome Lecture

As a service for our highly valued international colleagues with limited German skills, we have translated our ‘Willkommensvorlesung’, which takes place twice a year at the start of the semester to welcome our staff members from science and science-supporting areas.

To pay tribute to the digital high-tech era in which we live, the lecture is given by an avatar of our Vice Rector for Human Resources, Organisation and Digitalisation Dipl.-Ing. Gerhard Mannsberger.

Our digital assistant provides useful information about the history and organization of BOKU, its areas of expertise, important key figures, as well as the basic conditions for successful university cooperation.
