Lectures

More than 100 participants came to listen to the lectures at the X-Larch II Symposium, which analysed and reflected on experimental approaches to the design, use and perception of public open spaces. A common denominator of all projects and concepts presented was the understanding of design theory (as divers the different ideas might be) as an integral part of practical design work. The reinterpretation of classifications of and notions about landscape can be seen as an important starting point for many designers and scholars. See transcripts of  the lectures and *.pdf documents of the presentations for detailed information.
