On February 29h, 2024 the Data Science Initiative organized a symposium on Reproducible Data Analysis.

We focused on reproducible research, open research data and reusable software. 


1st Session 14:00 – 15:15

  • Github/Subversion, Reproducible Workflows and Databases (Petr Vojta, Vera Pils, Sangeeta Kumari - CF Bioinformatics)
  • Short update on the Complexity Science Hub (CSH) membership (Karsten Schulz)

  • A desperate guide to data analysis workflow improvements (Peter Regner - Institute of Sustainable Economic Development)
  • Reproducible reporting with Quarto (Matthias Schlögl - Institute of Mountain Risk Engineering)
  • Reproducibility in stochastic molecular simulations: what do we store where? (Edgar Galicia-Andrés - Institute of Molecular Modeling and Simulation)
  • JupyterHub as a service – hosted Jupyter instance for teaching (Ales Kuchar, Peter Regner, Florian Jäger - BOKU-Met, BOKU-INWE, TU dataLab)
