Demo Alert! Leica Thunder Imager April 14-16 2026

2026-02-04

Join us for a demonstration of the Leica Thunder Imager Cell Spinning Disk system in April 2026! The microscope provides gentle, high-speed imaging with enhanced image clarity via computational clearing.
The system is ideal for 3D samples and dynamic movements.

Please contact Leica's Andreas Müller at andreas.mueller(at)leica-microsystems.com to schedule a slot!

New stage-top incubator on the Leica SP8!

2026-02-04

It allows for easy heating of your cells, spheroids, biofilms or other temperature-sensitive samples.
We have holders for 35 and 60 mm dishes, for chamberslides and chambered coverslips. Immersion lenses can be heated as well, and the temperature can be measured directly in the sample.

Please contact us beforehand at msi(at)boku.ac.at so we can install it!
If needed, we can upgrade to CO2 control in the future.

Demo Alert! Sartorius Incucyte SX5 in March 2026

2026-01-20

The Sartorius Incucyte is a microscope inside a tissue culture incubator. Up to 6 multiwell plates can be cultivated and scheduled for repeat imaging with a variety of standard and specialized assays.
Since cells stay in place and the optics move to the well, cell growth is not perturbed, meaning adherent and suspension cultures as well as spheroids can be imaged.
Most standard cell culture plates are suitable for imaging. Applications include reporter gene expression, cytotoxicity, antibody internalization, scratch wound migration, spheroid growth and many more.

Please contact us at msi(at)boku.ac.at for more information!
