Oxford University Press: agreement period 2023-2025

The Library of the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna offers BOKU scientists the opportunity to publish Open Access in around 460 hybrid and Gold Open Access journals from OUP at no additional cost.1 The Open Access fees (Article Processing Charges, APC) are charged centrally at the library.

The agreement also includes read-only online access to around 370 of the publisher's scientific journals dating back to 1996 and is valid for the period 2023-2025.

Who can use the offer?

Corresponding authors who are affiliated with BOKU according to UG 2002 §94 at the time of acceptance.

Articles from FWF and EU projects can currently be funded under the agreement. The library reserves the right to refuse publication funding for articles resulting from research projects in co-operation with private sponsors from industry.

Research article, Review article, Brief report and Case report

Creative Commons licences: CC BY 4.0 (recommended), CC BY-NC 4.0, CC BY-NC-ND 4.0

 

Workflow for authors:

  • Authors are recognised as belonging to the university by indicating BOKU as an affiliation and using the institutional BOKU e-mail address.
  • After acceptance of your article, you will be informed by OUP about the possibility of free open access publishing. The publisher will guide you through the Read and Publish workflow in the online portal SciPris.
