BOKU Erfinderin 2024
Monika Cserjan is BOKU Inventor 2024! Ms Cserjan is successful in forging long-term productive relationships with corporate partners, resulting in a steady stream of new cooperation projects with BOKU. These often also serve to promote young scientists. Ms Cserjan is strongly involved in the training of the next generation of scientists. Her innovative research achievements qualify her as an excellent BOKU role model.
BOKU Female Inventor 2023
Miriam Klausberger is BOKU Inventor of the Year 2023! In recognition of her excellent scientific achievements and her professional contribution to knowledge and technology transfer, Miriam Klausberger receives a personal video in addition to a cash prize. VR Obinger thanked Ms Klausberger for her outstanding achievements at the award ceremony during the autumn festival in Tulln and emphasised that BOKU is proud to have Miriam Klausberger as a worthy role model for young female scientists and prospective students.
BOKU Female Inventor 2022
Nicole Borth received the BOKU Female Inventor of the Year 2022 award! Ms Borth is a role model for young female scientists, as she is an extraordinarily successful researcher who, as Area Head of the ACIB, has been the beneficiary of numerous company collaborations. The fact that an Austrian research team succeeded in sequencing the genetic material of the Chinese hamster for the first time is largely thanks to her years of research and opens up new methods in the development of healing methods.
Female Inventor 2021
The jury chose Ms Hellmayr as Female Inventor of the Year 2021. Ms Hellmayr's commitment to the environment and resources reflects the spirit of the times and is in line with BOKU's values, making her the perfect role model for prospective students.
Female Inventor 2020
The award 2020 went to Dr Gordana Wozniak-Knopp. Dr Wozniak-Knopp was able to convince the jury because she is not only involved in an exceptionally large number of inventions and patents, but also impresses with a high proportion of inventions. The researcher was also significantly involved in the spin-off F-star, which is one of BOKU's most successful spin-offs.
BOKU Female Inventors 2019
The BOKU Female Inventor of the Year 2019 award went ex aequo to Prof Herta Steinkellner, Prof Reingard Grabherr and Prof Brigitte Gasser.
