GRANSER-United Global Academy Award

In 2025, BOKU University is awarding a prize for scientific publications from the past two years that make a significant contribution to the development of management strategies for sustainable hunting.


Annually, a prize of EUR 3 000, - can be awarded. The reception of the prize requires the publication of a popular science summary of the research findings in the journal DER ANBLICK.


Application Documents:

-  detailed CV with a list of publications
- german summary of the submitted publication (max. one page)
- description of the merits of the work (max. one page)
- clear presentation of the applicant's individual contribution, including the type and extent of the contribution, and, in the case of a   co-authored publication, a signed confirmation from the applicant that all co-authors have consented to the application based on   this publication (max. 1 page)
- scientific original paper published in an international scientific journal (SCI expanded) that aligns with the objectives of the research prize1.


1Scientific work from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, is considered any original paper where at least one BOKU employee acts as a co-author. The submitting author must be the one who contributed primarily to the work, even if they are not employed at BOKU. The publication must have been released within the last two years.
