General Information
What is an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP)?
Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) are short group mobilities as a variant of Erasmus+ short-term mobilities. You can apply for a BIP through a call for applications from the organizing university.
BIPs consist of a physical and a virtual part and are carried out by a consortium of at least 3 universities from 3 different countries. BIPs aim to promote the use of innovative learning and teaching methods and to explore the possibilities of online collaboration. Current social challenges can be worked on in transnational and interdisciplinary teams.
An event can be conducted as a BIP, if the following points apply
-
For students at all levels of study, university staff and lecturers
-
Minimum 15 and maximum 20 participants
-
Physical part: 5 - 30 days
-
Virtual part: mandatory, duration not specified.
-
Students receive min. 3 ECTS credits per BIP
Participants with fewer opportunities
The Erasmus+ programme aims to promote equal opportunities and accessibility, inclusion and fairness in its actions. Therefore, participants with child or with disabilities/chronic diseases are explicitly invited to apply.
Please see our Study Abroad for People with Disabilities page and the Equality, Diversity and Disability Coordination Office pages for more information.
