The BOKU Sustainability Report 2022 is now published!

The BOKU Sustainability Report 2022 was audited according to GRI-standards by an independent and impartial third party organization. Therefore, BOKU is the first Austrian university to have published a Sustainability Report according to these standards.

Along the five areas (1) teaching and studying, (2) research, (3) exchange with society, (4) operations and (5) organizational culture, the Sustainability Report gives an overview of the various sustainability activities at BOKU, showing progress and potential to improve.

The university aims at continuously improving their contributions to sustainability. Therefore, the Sustainabilty Report is an important tool to track progress in a sustainabilty context and monitor whether implemented measures have the desired impact. The report shows this progess in a transparent way.

By publishing a yearly Sustainability Report, BOKU is taking another important step in actively accepting its social and environmental responsibility and helping to shape a sustainable future.
