Networks
An important task of the Centre for Bioeconomy is the networking of activities within BOKU, as well as the stimulation of cooperation and collaboration with relevant Austrian and international public and private institutions.
The most important international cooperations:
- European Bioeconomy University Alliance (EBU)
- Euroleague for Life Sciences (ELLS): network of all European Life Science Universities
- European sustainable energy innovation alliance (ESEIA): Networking of European universities with industry and public bodies, since 2005 with headquarters at TU Graz and in Brussels
- Association for European Life Science Universities (ICA): to intensify cooperation with the European Commission, the European Parliament and other organisations in Brussels
- European Partnership for an innovative Campus Unifying Regions (EPICUR): Cooperation of 9 universities in 7 countries in education, research and iInnovation
