Young Scientist Forum

Am 14.Juni 2011 findet im Festsaal der BOKU das 6. Young Scientist Forum statt. Geboten werden spannende Vorträge und Diskussionsrunden rund um das Thema "Ernährungssicherheit".

Das Young Scientist Forum wird durch StudentInnen der Lehrveranstaltung „Applied Development Research II“ organisiert. Weitere Informationen in Englisch. What will we eat, when there are 9 Billion People in the world? There are many challenges that a large global population will face, with food and water scarcity some of the biggest concerns for the future. Agricultural production of food will need to stand up to the tremendous challenge of providing for so many, under stressed natural resources and a changing environment. Come join a student forum where you can learn from fellow students and other professional researchers about ways that this global problem can be addressed! Ask questions and participate in a lively discussion. It is free and refreshements will be served.
