Markus TOMEK vom Department für NanoBiotechnologie gewann den „Austrian Young Glycoscientist Best Talk Award“ mit seinem Vortrag über "Glycoprotein biosynthesis in the oral pathogen Tannerella forsythia".

Simone KURZ vom Department für Chemie gewann einen “Best Short Talk Award” mit ihrem Vortrag "N-glycan analysis of fucosylated and anionic glycan epitopes of the malaria mosquito Anopheles gambiae".

Justyna NOCON vom Department für Biotechnologie gewann in der Session “Bioengineering & Synthetic Biology” den Posterpreis für ihren Beitrag "Metabolic model-based prediction of engineering targets for increased production of heterologous proteins".

Einen weiteren Posterpreis gewann Stefan HOFBAUER vom Department für Chemie mit seinem Poster "Mechanism of self-inhibition of chlorite dismutase in the nitrite-oxidizing bacterium Candidatus Nitrospira defluvii" in der Session “Translational Biotechnology”.
