The 500 million smallholder farmers who produce the vast majority of food worldwide depend on scarce natural resources and fragile ecosystems. Shocks like natural disasters, land-use conflicts and political unrest further threaten their livelihoods. On September, 19th we want to discuss these challenges and explore how farmers can manage the transition from vulnerability to resilience at Tropentag. The workshop will take place from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the "Alte WU"-campus in Augasse 2-6, 1090 Vienna. Find the workshop programme here. Find more information on Tropentag here.
