Where: Statt-Beisl im WUK, Währinger Straße 59, 1090 The bar Statt-beisl at WUK will be going Irish for a week to celebrate St. Patrick's Day! With special food and drinks being served all week ( Stout soup with stout bread served by a stout waiter, an Irish lamb burger) while when the big day comes on Friday, they'll be inviting a irish singer/songwriter Shane O Fearghall to the stage who'll be playing good ol' Irish folk music. Die Bar-Statt-Beisl im WUK wird für eine Woche ganz irisch, um den St. Patricks Day zu feiern! Die ganze Woche wird besonderes Essen und Getränke serviert. Wenn der große Tag am Freitag kommt, werden sie einen irischen Sänger / Songwriter Shane O Fearghall einladen, der das WUK mit irischer Volksmusik rocken wird. Es wird ein toller alternativer Ort sein, um den Tag zu feiern - ganz sicher!
Molly Darcy’s – the Paddy’s day week celebration

Opening Hours: FRI–FRI, March 10–17 One of Vienna’s most beloved Irish pubs, Molly Darcy’s, started last Friday their St Paddy’s Day marathon and will continue it into the early hours of Saturday morning. They’ll dye their beer green and rumour has it the Buddha barman, chris, will give you a kiss of luck if you rub his head. Meanwhile, expect it to be as busy as the tap-dancing, yodeling lion exhibit at the zoo on the big day (this exhibit may or may not exist). Sie werden ihr Bier grün färben und ein Gerücht geht um, dass der Buddha Barmann, chris, dir einen Kuss des Glücks gibt, wenn du seinen Kopf reibst. Und wenn du für dein widerspenstiges Verhalten rausgeworfen wirst, mach dir keine Sorgen - sie haben draußen eine Bar als Teil einer lebhaften Straßenparty.

Opening Hours: FRI, March 17, 11am–4am This popular Irish drinking hole will start the festivities and continue on all through the week, as like they say, one day just isn't enough. And the week-long festival boasts an impressive program: Live music (the real Irish folk band, Paddy McMullan band and the Sweaty socks– you can look, but no poking), Iirish oysters, Irish karaoke, green beer, and a special 5-course dinner on Sunday to recover from all of the madness.

Vienna’s St Patrick’s Day Parade 2017
When: SAT, March 19, 11:30am
Where: Yppenplatz, 1160 Led by an Irish piper, an army of green will be marching around the city on Saturday morning – spot the Irish dancers, the random confused Scot playing the bag-pipe and the leprechaun amongst the sea of those Guinness or Magner novelty green hats that everybody has a collection of at home from years of Paddy day celebrations. And everybody is welcome to join in on the parade! It will start at Yppenplatz, and finish in festivities at the Ottakringer brewery. ------ Jeder liebt Paraden!
Wiens St Patrick's Day Parade 2017

Angeführt von einem irischen Pfeifer, wird eine grüne Armee am Samstagmorgen um die Stadt marschieren - vor Ort die irischen Tänzer. Und jeder ist herzlich eingeladen, an der Parade teilzunehmen und mitzutanzen! Es beginnt am Yppenplatz und endet in der Feierlichkeiten der Ottakringer Brauerei.
