Time: 15, 16 and 23 January 2018

This course shall help you preparing your field trip or any other stay in a foreign country. We will give an introduction to hazards, safety, and health issues with respect to travelling, field research and studying abroad.

We will support you in answering these questions:

- How do I prepare my trip to avoid health and safety issues in the country of destination?

- What do I have to consider during a trip to avoid health and safety issues?

- What should I do/how should I behave during a critical incident?

- What should I do after such an incident?
