Course "Intercultural competence - Acting effectively in an international environment"

The “Intercultural Competence” course (3 ECTS, BOKU course number 120999, application deadline February 20) will provide you with a toolkit to react to new cultural situations and will also aid you in using your intercultural experience as an advantage in your future career.

For those staying for the 2nd semester: Course "Intercultural competence - Acting effectively in an international environment" The “Intercultural Competence” course (3 ECTS, BOKU course number 120999) will provide you with a toolkit to react to new cultural situations and will also aid you in using your intercultural experience as an advantage in your future career. Based on active participation, the course will give you an understanding of how different cultures work through discussions with other students, literature work, reflective online tasks and project work. You will meet other students, some who have studied abroad and just returned with new experiences; who, like you, are currently at BOKU for an exchange semester; and others who will be studying abroad in the future.
Interested?  Please send an email to erasmustoboku@boku.ac.at latest by February 20, 2018 to apply for the course. Places are given on the basis of "first come, first serve". To guarantee the success of the course the lecturers reserve the right to choose a group of mixed nationalities. If your home university agrees, you can also add the course to your learning agreement after your arrival.
