IRSEL - Innovation on Remote Sensing Education and Learning


Institute of Geomatics attended the "Project Meeting and Workshop on Train-the-Teachers on learning management technologies" hosted by the College of Tourism and Geography Sciences, Yunnan Normal University, Kunming, China.

The Institute of Geomatics is taking part in the ERASMUS+ Project on "Innovation on Remote Sensing Education and Learning - IRSEL".

The 2nd Review meeting was hosted by the College of Tourism and Geography Sciences, Yunnan Normal University, Kunming, China on 21-24 November 2019. Project management, module development, and stakeholder meetings were held during this time.

In addition, in the following week (25-28 November 2019) "IRSEL Train-the-Teachers on learning management technologies" workshop was also be held at Yunnan Normal University for teachers from partner countries. The aim of the workshop was to improve the knowledge, skills, and competences of related teaching staff regarding learning management, educational methodology, mentoring and professional competences.

Three staff members of BOKU participated in the meeting and the workshop.
