EATSA ARTLAB Higher Education Competition

An integral part of the EATSA Art & Tourism Film Festival - an initiative promoted by EATSA (Euro Asia Tourism Studies Association) and organised by Centro de Portugal Film Commission - the competition is open to students, lecturers, professors and researchers from worldwide universities and aims to:

• Foster cultural and creative expression through film;
• Promote audiovisual productions whose content is aligned with at least one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) advocated by the UN;
• Contribute to raising awareness to the main problem’s humanity is facing (climate change, sustainable development, minority rights, gender discrimination, sexual or ethnic identity, etc.);
• Contribute to the adoption of good social, business, and institutional practices in any of the above-mentioned areas;
• Promote the regeneration of the tourism industry through sustainability-driven models and practices;
• Bridge the gap between research and working industries.

The competition encompasses three competitive sections (Educational, Research and Internship) in a range of themes.
