ICA-Edu Online Colloquium
The ICA-Edu Colloquium will be held online in three sessions during the mornings of 26 to 28 May 2021. The Colloquium title is “Action to keep the entrepreneurial genie out of the bottle! - Engaging students with sustainable entrepreneurial education in your curriculum”.
The goal of this Colloquium is to share views, ideas, experiences and practises on how to stimulate the nascent entrepreneurship competencies of our students through both curricular and extra-curricular activitiesin the agricultural and life sciences. In each of the three sessions there will be keynote presentations and small group round table discussion sessions in ZOOM breakout rooms – the Colloquium will be interactive!
The challenge of embedding the development of students’ entrepreneurial competences across the curriculum of discipline specific degree programmes, such as for example forestry, crop science food science and biotechnology will be discussed and models for student innovation hubs which provide the opportunity for students to turn a business idea into commercial reality in what is often an extra-curricular activity will be explored. In the final session innovative approaches for the assessment of the entrepreneurial competences acquired will be discussed.
