FFG Academy: The ERC Proof of Concept Grant in Horizon Europe
ERC supports Principal Investigators who would like to explore the commercial or societal potential of an idea arising from their ERC project with a special instrument – the Proof of Concept (PoC) grant.
We cordially invite ERC Grantees, their team members, (potential) collaborators, members of grant management and tech transfer offices as well as other interested persons to an online session by the FFG Academy:
(More) Opportunities for ERC Grantees and their teams
160921, 4:30-6:00 pm
Online-registration and information: FFG website for the Proof of Concept event
This session aims to support ERC Grantees, their team members and potential collaborators in the preparation of a successful ERC Proof of Concept proposal. It will introduce the specifics of ERC Proof of concept Grant and discuss the novelties for the scheme in Horizon Europe, in particular the provision of more room for further research activities in PoC projects.
Line Fredslund-Volkers, PoC Call Coordinator of the ERC Executive Agency (ERCEA), will provide background information and answer questions by applicants. Georg Buchtela, a PoC Panel Member, will share his experiences and recommendations for a convincing PoC proposal.
The ERC Proof of Concept (PoC) Call 2022 is open, with a first cut-off date on 141021. Exceptionally, the ERC Work Programme contains two distinct PoC-Calls, with altogether four cut-off dates.
