REMINDER: Lecture Digital Patent for BOKU researchers

The number of patent applications at the European Patent Office (EPO) grew in the last five years from 160.000 to more than 180.000 in all technical fields. In some fields like biotechnology they increased even stronger from 5.477 to 7.246 patent applications between 2016 and 2020. In the field of digital patents, the growth is even greater. Therefore, it is important to understand what digital patents are and how they can be used to protect new digital solutions, often based on academic research. These questions will be answered in the webinar by Professor Alexander Wurzer.
