Mendel Genetics Conference

The Mendel Genetics Conference will take place in Brno, Czech Republic from 20 – 23 July 2022 to commemorate the bicentennial of the birth of Gregor Johann Mendel, the father of modern genetics, whose life and research are inextricably linked with Brno.

This UNESCO-acknowledged multidisciplinary genetic event will present discussions on discoveries sparked by Mendel’s own work, including human genetics (inherited diseases, cancer genetics and gene therapy), plant and animal genetics, emerging technologies in genetic research, ethical questions, and history of genetics.
