Summer Course on Ecosystem-based Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation with case studies from Indonesia
The online based event “Summer Course on Ecosystem-based Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation” is held by the Faculty of Geography, Supported by Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, Indonesia and will be conducted online 5-22 July 2022.
This course promotes ecosystem-based disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation in order to maintain sustainability, through numerous real-world examples and most recent cases.
Participants will improve their theoretical framework and present practical tools in understanding the linkage between ecosystem, disaster occurrences, and climate change, also get introduced to the richness of Indonesia landscape and culture.
