2 PhD Positions in the context of the BIOSS Projects
BOKU’s department of Landscape, Spatial and Infrastructure Sciences, Institute of Landscape Planning is currently seeking 2 Postgraduate Research Associates (project employment). We open 2 PhD-Researcher positions in the third-party funded research project BIOSS "Biosphere reserves as models for science-society interaction to trace sustainability transformations in mountainous areas and beyond", for the duration of the project. The advertised positions are embedded in an inter- and transdisciplinary research team, based at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna (Institute for Landscape Planning, Institute for Sustainable Economic Development) and the Biosphere Reserve Entlebuch (Switzerland). Throughout the project you will collaborate with the team members and with a wide range of interested parties. Both positions will be based in Vienna.
BIOSS addresses to what extent mountain biosphere reserves established themselves as models for science-society interaction and thereby successfully contributed to alleviate pressing sustainability challenges and spur sustainability transformations in mountainous regions.
