BOKU invites students to sign up for the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Towards opportunities in careers in biotechnology”, which will take place partly at BOKU and in Granada, Spain. Abstract In the context of a workshop on a topic in the field of biotechnology, this programme offers a maximum of 8 Master students of the BOKU-University of Natural Relations and Life Sciences, Vienna, a travel allowance of 350€ to a one-week workshop in Granada from 17-21 April 2023 Workshop After a thematic introduction by the supervising professors R. Kunert and R. Bliem of the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, the students will conduct individual but coordinated research on the topic "Towards opportunities in careers in biotechnology" and prepare a presentation. The scope of the preparatory research is half a SWS. It will be completed during the week of 17-21 April 2023 at the University of Granada. During this one-week stay, in addition to the joint presentation of the workshop results, visits to biotech companies and laboratories, a tour of the city of Granada and a visit to the city of Guadix will take place. ECTS The University of Granada awards 3 ECTS for this workshop. The crediting for any courses in the home universities is done by the students themselves. Schedule This programme is scheduled for the beginning of the academic year. The workshop will start between mid-November 2022, but no later than the end of February 2023. The completion of the research preparation is planned for the beginning of April. The workshop will conclude in Granada on 21 April 2023. Contact: Univ.
