V Balkan Symposium on Fruit Growing

The V Balkan Symposium on Fruit Growing, will be held in Zagreb, Croatia from 18-21 June 2023. BSFG 2023 is organized by the University of Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture, together with the  International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS). The symposium will focus on the exchange of expertise on various aspects of fruit growing in the Balkans and fruit science outside the region that could be applied in this region.

There will be sessions on the following topics:

• Biodiversity, plant genetic resources and breeding
• Biotechnology and physiology
• Cultivation systems and pest control
• Postharvest, fruit quality and food science
• Sustainability, economics and management

Oral and poster presentations are invited to cover the full spectrum of research, from theory to implementation within each topic. The social program will give you the opportunity to meet colleagues from all over the world and spend a relaxing evening in the city of Zagreb.
