ICA-Edu Pre-Workshop Webinar

Topic: Engaging students in extra-curricular activities

on 23 February 2023, 1-2pm CET

This webinar will address some challenges associated with engaging students in extra-curricular activities and recognising that engagement. 

The presentations are:

  • A: “The university as a school of life” by Frederik De Decker, Head of Ghent University’s International Relations Office. 
     
  • B: “Universities supporting students’ own innovativeness” by Isa Stucki soon to graduate Food Economics and Consumption Master student from the University of Helsinki.

Each presenter will make a 20 minute presentation to be followed with the opportunity to comment and question the presenters. See more details

26 to 28 April 2023 Enhancing Student and Industry Engagement Workshop

The ICA Board Committee Networks, ICA Network for Innovation in Life Sciences Higher Education (ICA-Edu), ICA Special Interest Group for sustainable Entrepreneurship Education (ICA-Edu SIG) and the ICA Community for Bioeconomy Education in Europe (ICA-CoP Bio-Edu), will hold their annual Workshops at the Warsaw University for Life Sciences (SGGW) from lunchtime on Wednesday 26 April to Lunchtime on Friday 28 April. The themes of all the Workshops will focus on Enhancing Student and Industry Engagement. It is planned to hold a plenary session involving all the three networks and then parallel sessions for each Network. Further details to follow.
