New WWTF ICT Project Call: Digital Humanism

This call targets interdisciplinary research projects between ICT and social sciences / humanities (SSH including artistic research) that address digital technologies & practices from a human-centered and societal perspective. Research projects should span 2-4 years, and the requested funding per project may range from 300,000 to 600,000 Euro.

For institutions located in Lower Austria: This call is again a Joint Projects supported by the Landesregierung Niederösterreich. Institutions from Lower Austria can participate with a greater share than usual (20-49% of the overall funding). For these projects, the maximum funding sum is 650.000 Euro.

Please note that this is a two-stage call with a short- and full-proposal phase.

Deadline for submission of short proposals: 041023

Upon invitation, full proposals are to be submitted by 200224.

The funding decision is expected in June 2024.
