Interesse an Doktorandenaustausch mit der University of Aberystwyth, UK?

Falls Ihr Institut Interesse an Doktorand*innenaustausch mit der University of Aberystwyth im Rahmen des Taith-Programms hat (das ist das walisische Ersatzprogramm für ERASMUS; siehe Info ab Seite 14), bitte melden Sie sich bis 8. September 2023 bei Dr. Margarita Calderón-Peter mit Bekanntgabe von:

• potentiellen oder bereits laufenden Doktorats-Forschungsthemen, die dafür genutzt werden könnten
• ggf. schon Anzahl oder Namen der Studierenden, die ab Wintersemester 2024 (frühestens) das Stipendium nutzen wollen.

Im Herbst ist dann (bei ausreichendem Interesse) ein Zoom-Meeting mit Aberystwyth zur Abklärung der Möglichkeiten geplant. Damit könnte Aberystwyth im Jänner 2024 einen Antrag einreichen - die Entscheidung über die Finanzierung fällt im Sommer 2024.

If your institute is interested in a doctoral exchange with the University of Aberystwyth within the framework of the Taith Programme (this is the Welsh substitute programme for ERASMUS; see Info from page 14 onwards), please contact Dr. Margarita Calderón-Peter by 8 September 2023 with details of

• potential or ongoing PhD research topics that could be used for this purpose
• if applicable, the number or names of students who would like to use the scholarship (at the earliest in the winter semester 2024).

In case of sufficient interest from BOKU scientists, a ZOOM meeting with Aberystwyth is then planned in autumn to clarify the possibilities. This would allow Aberystwyth to submit an application in January 2024 - the decision on funding will be made in summer 2024.
