4th Africa-UniNet Call
Africa-UniNet funds international research cooperation projects with at least one Austrian and at least one African university/university of applied sciences/research institution. Only active members of Africa-UniNet, i.e. institutions that have paid the membership fee for 2023, are eligible to apply. All institutions involved in a project proposal have to be active members.
Detailed information on the 4th Africa-UniNet call including all necessary application documents, the selection process and the reporting guidelines can be found on the website.
Please consult the website to get an overview of all active member institutions eligible to participate in the fourth call for funding and to confirm that your institution is among them. Please note that only applications submitted via the Africa-UniNet representative of the coordinating institution are eligible. Only two applications as coordinating institution are allowed per institution. Even though the number of project applications that can be submitted as coordinating institution is limited, the respective institution can become a partner institution in further project proposals.
Important! If you would like to submit your proposal as project partner or as project coordinator please contact the Head of BOKU-International Relations Dr. Margarita Calderón-Peter until 15 November 2023 at the latest so that the Letter of Intent can still be signed by the rectorate in time. Furthermore, all proposals with BOKU as project coordinator have to be sent to the BOKU network coordinator of Africa-UniNet PD Dr. Andreas Melcher until 28 November 2023 at the latest. As stated in the project call BOKU can coordinate a maximum number of two projects and applications have to be submitted bundled by the network coordinator.
