Staff Training Week, Germany

18-22 March 2024 at University of Marburg | Application deadline: 31 December 2023

The Erasmus+ and the Sustainability teams of Philipps-Universität Marburg are pleased to invite you to their first International Staff Training Week on fostering sustainable transformation in an HEI context.

The main goal of the International Staff Training Week (STW) is to strengthen and develop professional competences in dealing with sustainability processes at your Higher Education Institution - especially in the context of international mobility. Thus, the programme offers exciting live workshops and presentations about different aspects relating to the STW theme, all in a format that are engaging and animating.

Beyond knowledge and skills in sustainable transformation processes, the programme offers you the opportunity to network and share experiences with other participants and to inspire yourself with new ideas for your own work.

You will...

  • gain insight into the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG),
  • learn how SDG are relevant to HEI development
  • find inspiration on the role of HEI in their community regarding SDG,
  • identify challenges and opportunities for international mobility in the context of sustainability,
  • meet and learn about relevant non-governmental actors in fostering SDG,
  • discover ways to identify and establish local transformation and sustainability networks, and
  • have a lot of fun meeting great people from around the world!
