New APPEAR projects and grants awarded

Six Academic Partnership projects were selected by the APPEAR Selection Board, chaired by the Austrian Development Agency, at the end of November 2023 with a total funding volume of about 2 million euros. The projects were presented during the selection procedure and had to meet the formal requirements. After a positive review they were evaluated along the APPEAR criteria in a competitive process.

BOKU-International Relations sends many congratulations to Prof. Thomas Ertl for the project “Assessment of Pollutant Emissions to support River Basin Management in Albania according to the EU Water Framework Directive” and to PD Maria Wurzinger for the project “Taking a multi-level perspective on community-based livestock breeding in Ethiopia: From niche to mainstream”.
